Catherine and Nick eloped in the Hamilton registry office on a Monday morning. However, before heading North for two weeks of long walks on the beach and lazy afternoons reading, a photoshoot to commemorate the occasion was essential!
Catherine’s dog Sailer came along for the fun. We stopped by Rolador for a coffee, then headed to Newcastle train station, before our final picnic in the park.
Catherine and Nick simply oozed 50s style glamour and spirit. I particularly love the BW photograph of Cat and Nick through the window at Rolador – so romantic!

Nat this is the coolest, funkiest, least-sappy wedding shoot ever! You are the photographer I wish I could be – and what a once-in-a-lifetime cool couple to shoot!
Wow, thanks Michelle! Yes, Cath and Nick are a pretty gorgeous and special couple. On my first meeting with Cath, I think she was so excited that I was on the same page as her, and could see the photos she wanted, that she gave me the biggest hug and kiss before leaving. It was a fun shoot indeed. BTW, great seeing you and the family the other day, I only just read this post now
