This morning I had the pleasure of joining my Mum and Dad for their early swim at Mona Vale baths – something they religiously do each day and I’m so glad I had my camera with me. I’m pretty sure this is where they are both at their happiest and I was there to record a little of that happiness.
Making the walk across the sand to the pool there were a couple of whales splashing, jumping and tail slapping in the already humid morning and although they were a little far out for Mum to see, clearly she was just happy that Dad and I were enjoying the spectacle. It was a good morning today.
At the pool it was like Mum and Dad were part of a little club with greetings by name to all the swimmers and even a posed photo with a couple of the girls.
I’m so glad I was there to grab these few special photos – I know that all of my brothers and both Mum and Dad will treasure them.
